Blue Bottle Hannam is located in Gourmet 494, a grocery/restaurant connected to Nine One Hannam, a residential complex where units go for 3.3 billion won+ in lease deposits (that’s $2.5 million USD).

Maybe it’s because I’m getting to the end of my Blue Bottle Korea list, or the fact that the official Blue Bottle site no longer has facts and visions posted for each location (which I loved, and am disappointed they removed from the website), but this location felt very… “let’s put a Blue Bottle here because this place is fancy and you know what else is fancy? Blue Bottle coffee.” Nothing design-wise stuck out, and if it hadn’t have been a Blue Bottle, I would have walked right past this location.
