The third offering by Rain Report in Seoul, Rain Report: British is located in the Yeonnam area, an area I seem to be visiting a lot lately.

The premise of the original two Rain Reports is rather simple: it rains. In one location, there is fake outdoor rain, and in another, there is fake indoor rain.
Rain Report: British is slightly different, although there is a little bit of fake rain outside the entrance, and in the center of each floor, trickling from the ceiling. The mood they’re going for is a hotel-style one, with individual “rooms” that you must collect a keycard to power the electricity for. It also features an exclusively monochrome vibe. There are three floors of rooms to choose from.

The selection of pastries was small but they seemed very intricate and well-made, and the drinks were all very interesting. I went with the Cloudy Day, a black lemonade.

When we arrived around 2:30 on a Sunday, there was only one other group of people in the cafe, but it started to pick up as we left. Ironically, it had been a rainy day in the morning but the rain had settled by the time we met up.
I probably won’t go back to this location, but I can admire how it was done up and how excited my British friend was to go there. I’ll probably visit the other Rain Reports in the coming months, but I’m aware that they are busier than this particular location.
