Happiness, for me, back in 2020 when the world was in lockdown, were the 부대찌개 (army base stew) restaurants, of which there is an entire street full that wasn’t too far from my officetel.
Whenever I have a bad day, I try to remember how hard I fought to be here, chasing my dreams. How adaptable and fluid I am, to travel to a country half the world away and make a city so unfamiliar to me feel like home.
[…] This beautiful cafe popped up on my instagram feed and I had to visit. Not only was it uniquely beautiful and roasts its own coffee, but it’s called “manhole” coffee, and I was recently made a moderator for a manhole covers around the world group and take many photos of my own. […]
