Here’s books #32-41…
- The Blob That Ate Everyone (#55)
- You Can’t Scare Me! (#15)
- Attack of the Mutant (#25)
- Monster Blood II (#18)
- Monster Blood III (#29)
- The Curse of Camp Cold Lake (#56)
- Monster Blood IV (#62)
- Why I’m Afraid of Bees (#17)
- Ghost Beach (#22)
- The Werewolf of Fever Swamp (#14)
I may have binge-read four Goosebumps books one Sunday when I wasn’t feeling like doing anything.
The Monster Blood arc is finished! I really enjoyed the pivot the fourth book took, but am still annoyed at the random inclusion of a character that did nothing to help the story along, and even took away what I was imagining: that different varieties of Monster Blood exist all on their own and the Monster Blood universe is endless.
The Blob That Ate Everyone is absolutely something I would have written myself as a seventh-grader, so I have fondness for its cringiness.
Attack of the Mutant was the most memorable of this bunch, and the one I was worried that I wouldn’t like as I don’t like superheroes. I mentioned that I really hope they made an episode based on this book. I’m sure the special effects of the 90s would not have been kind to the story, but I still would have adored it.
I’ve started to narrow down which books I will likely have to purchase on Kindle that I can’t find at the various libraries I have a card with. I’m sad I don’t think I’m not able to read all 62 books for free, but that’s okay.
What book shall I read tonight before bed? Hmmm.
