2024 Kim Kibum Birthday Cafes

And we’re back with more Key birthday cafes! I only went to two this year, focusing instead on hanging out with my friends, but one of my friends went to a Key cafe in a different area of Seoul and brought me goodies.

To find the birthday cafes, there’s a wonderful site here that lists locations and the promos. From there I usually create a Naver list of cafes and share the list with others. There were a total of 14 Key birthday cafes in Korea, with around 10 of them being in the Seoul area.

First up was a cafe called Ordinary Archive.

The gifts here were pretty solid and the cafe was dressed up very cutely but the space also felt weird, as there was just an empty room in the front of the space with a poster and gacha machine, and only two long tables facing the walls, and yet a couch and chairs that you couldn’t sit on.

The second cafe was a few minutes’ walk away, called Lovin Idol.

This was a more traditional cafe. Unlike the first cafe, this cafe didn’t have a theme, so to speak.

After the two cafes, we were hungry so we decided to go get chicken and then to another cafe for dessert. I was pretty tired and decided to call it a day after these two cafes. I was very excited to get a new calendar for display at my desk, and bookmarks! My only annoyance is that the paper cup at the first cafe is a different size than all my other paper cups so it sits awkwardly on my shelf.
