Sponsor a child this holiday season!
I’ve been sponsoring a child for the last three years. I always sponsor an older child, for whom the holiday season is often not as magical as they have more awareness of the struggles their families go through.
Last year I picked a child to sponsor and noticed that there were three children posted, back to back, with the same syllable as the first part of their name. Siblings, I thought? I reached out to a volunteer, who confirmed that they were indeed siblings. I was fortunate at that time to be able to sponsor all three children.
This time I chose the 17 year old “Violin Girl” who needed new clothes as her depression has made her gain weight and her current clothes aren’t suitable.
