The last time I visited Seoul, I checked out a new-to-me cafe that’s been around for a few years: Cafe Sudal (μλ¬, “otter”), located in Anguk.

We went shortly after opening so there was only one other group there, which allowed me to get some great interior shots. The cafe is in a modern hanok, with lots of light wood and natural light.

They have a kiosk located at the counter where you order. They offer espresso-based drinks as well as a small selection of hand-drip. I chose a hand-drip (I want to say it was Costa Rica but I’ve forgotten) and the injeolmi toast.

Though I feel like I don’t have a lot to say about this cafe, it was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to go back. I can definitely see this becoming one of my go-to cafes in Seoul.
