My Mid-Year Review was pretty much a year-end review as well, as I didn’t have much time to read in the latter part of the year thanks to job hunting.
My top book of the year was Bora Chung’s Your Utopia, which remains the book I recommend to everyone. My biggest disappointment was Banu Mushtaq’s Heart Lamp, even though there were some amazing stories in that collection.
In the new year, I’d like to continue reading Korean Literature, re-read Moby Dick, and start a new reading challenge similar to the one I had in 2024 of re-reading all of the original 62 Goosebumps books.
Does anyone have any book recommendations for me? Leave them in the comments!
