Time for the last full week of school lunch!
Monday was a bulgogi burger, chicken nuggets, grapes, mini sausages, some chicken, a little rolled egg omelet, some stir-fried fish cake, rice, and dumpling soup. I really enjoyed the dumpling soup. 8/10

Tuesday’s lunch was octopus again, somehow even more unappetizing than the first octopus lunch. There was also rice, steamed egg, chicken nuggets, japchae, mild white kimchi, sliced potato, and what I believe is thin, sticky dried fish known as jwipo μ₯ν¬. I liked the japchae but was disappointed the main protein was octopus. 4/10

Wednesday was a rice heavy lunch. We also had seawood soup, bulgogi and vegetables, a chicken nugget and a tater tot, half a tangerine, kimchi, fish cake, burdock root μ°μ , sweet dried black beans 콩μλ°, macaroni and spam salad, and some kind of red-sauced thing. Burdock root is one of my favorite vegetables, but I didn’t try whatever the red thing was. It appeared to be fish. The fruit was a nice addition to this lunch. 6/10

Thursday’s lunch was pretty good! We had rice, bulgogi, seasoned fried tofu, sliced sausage, sliced potato, quail eggs and chopped carrots and mushrooms, a few pieces of tonkatsu with sauce, and a churro for dessert. Other than the quail eggs that I gave to my coworker, I ate everything here. 8/10

Friday was another special lunch. The students got boneless prinkle chicken, covered in a kind of sweet cheese powder, and we got a chicken burger and fries from Mom’s Touch. I forgot to take a picture before I started eating, so here’s a picture of my burger with a bite taken out of it. I’m not really a fan of Mom’s Touch but this was a nice break from the Korean lunchboxes. 7/10
