I’m known for ordering two drinks at every cafe I go to, but the cafe I visited prior to discovering this one wasn’t that great and Naver showed me a ton of cafes in the area, so I decided to pop in for a pour-over.
I was so happy to see a Yemeni coffee on the list, as I adore Yemeni coffees even though it is problematic to be sourcing coffee from a war-torn, impoverished, country that’s been in a famine since 2016.
The cafe itself is a bit on the smaller size, but it has a great patio for the warmer months and is located in a quiet area of Madu.
But the coffee.
Ya’ll.
This is, hands down, the best coffee I’ve discovered in Korea. I’ve been ordering it through their Naver SmartStore and have yet to be disappointed. (They also give you a sample with your order, which I love.)
The last time I visited, I needed to pick up some coffee desperately as I was out, and the barista asked me if I wanted to sign up for their point program. After he asked for my name, an amazed expression of recognition crossed his face.
This might have become one of my favorite cafes in all of Korea, and I’m so lucky that it’s just a short bus ride away. If you’re in the area, and wondering which cafe to check out, this one should be at the top of your list.
Here are some shots of the general area it’s located in.
